Where can you drive in Rangiroa?
Use a car for road journeys on the main Avatoru motu, including shopping and reaching agreed meeting points. Rangiroa is an atoll rather than a single continuous road circuit.
The Tiputa pass separates Avatoru from Tiputa. Crossing it and visiting distant motu or the Blue Lagoon require a boat or an excursion arranged with a local operator.
